To strive together–or–How we can get over ourselves and learn new ways to think about and use AI

A fabulous friend, Michael Dila, pinged me today, and as always, he dropped some things for me to absorb before we plan to speak next.

And of course, this minor act did what it always does when Dila pings. It set my brain into a delicious burn.
I share it with you all, hoping it will spawn your flames of curiousity.

Asking us to think beyond the chatter

I would be remiss if I didn’t warn you that this conversation led me down numerous delicious rabbit holes and siren song-ed more than a few mental worms I’ve been feeding lately.

Here is a small list I’ll share with you all:

The touch point of all of these things revolves around our understanding of what things are and the limitations on what our futures are and can be. (May they be self-inflected, systematic, &/or taught.)

Ultimately, Future(s) are ours to build and explore. And if no one’s given it to you yet, you have permission to move beyond the singular nature of thinking of and building your futures.
Dila says so.
